These absolutley gorgeous belts and purses are made throughout Peru by indigenous women who are employed by fair trade cooperatives. This is often the only opportunity for them to earn money in poverty stricken rural areas. Your purchase helps sustain these women and their families. Saying that we were more than willing to purchase some of these products for our line. What we weren't expecting was to have our socks knocked off by their beauty, sewing technique and craftmanship. WOWZA is all we can say. Not only are we carrying and wearing a piece of Art, is it totally some of the most well made items we own.
